Community Dinner Change of Venue!!

All- The Community Dinner this week is NOT at the House of Prayer, but will be served at Zion Episcopal. House of prayer is hosting it, but does not have suitable space to feed, so Zion is providing the space. So, Community Dinner, Tuesday the 27th, 6pm, at Zion Episcopal. Pass the word. Religious Herald Subscriptions

This publication is the news organization of the Baptist General Association of Virginia. It’s mission is to “inform, interpret and inspire in the context of the witness and work of the BGA of Virginia.” If you would like to get your subscription going, or would like to renew an existing subscription, please let the church secretary know by September 11th. The cost is $13.50 for a one-year subscription. 304-725-5917.

Women's Retreat at Eagle Eyrie!

“Ordinary Life-Extraordinary God” is the title of the women’s get-away at Eagle Eyrie on November 4-5 or 5-6, 2011. Registration began August 1st for staying in the hotel or for making lodging accommodations through the SBA. Since we want to be among the first to use the hotel option ($20), please see either Dotsi Campbell or Deb Deming ASAP if you plan to attend. Beth Moore Simulcast - Sept 10th

The Greenway Spirit and Word Fellowship is sponsoring a Beth Moore Simulcast on September 10th from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost is $5.00 for lunch and please bring a non-perishable food item. The church van and other vehicles will be leaving the parking lot at 9:30 a.m. You must pre-register for this, so let either Deb Deming or Dotsi Campbell know right away if you plan to attend.

Kids for Christ Day #2!

Please see Ashley Hall if you can volunteer your time and talent for the next session of “Kids for Christ” held Saturday, August 20th. Last month there were 7 children involved with this great ministry. Great things are planned, but they need YOU too!
