1st Saturday Family Praise and Worship Night is March 7th!

You are invited to our monthly Family Praise and Worship night at Charles Town Baptist Church on Saturday, March 7th, 2009 at 7pm. We will sing with the DVD's so there is no excuse that you won't know the songs. The last one was cancelled due to the church having no heat that weekend.

Do you feel that something's missing in your life, please come and just enjoy the music and let the words speak to you. You may leave feeling a lot better.

Discipleship Training 2009

Have you ever wanted to lead a class, but didn't feel you could commit to a Sunday School class? Well, here's your chance! Deb Park, Discipleship Training Director, is looking for a few volunteers to lead short Bible Study sessions on Sunday evening at 5:30pm. The material will be provided for you, all you need to do is facilitate the sessions. Please contact Deb or the church office if you can serve. Many, Many Thanks!

The Valentine Banquet was a wonderful event!!

Thank you to Donna, Jill and David for providing entertainment for our Valentine Banquet! It was wonderful!

No 8:30 Service / No Sunday School tomorrow 8/8/09

Due to no heat at the church, the 8:30 service and Sunday School are cancelled for tomorrow.

Please plan to attend the 11:00 service instead. Don't forget tomorrow is also race relations day and Rev. Timothy Robinson from New Zion Baptist Church in Harpers Ferry will be the guest speaker.

Pre-Spring Clean Up - Sat, Feb. 7th

Starting at 10am this Saturday, we will be moving and organizing several storage rooms that will become hallways for access to the new building. That means organizing Sunday School and VBS materials and other items. If you are involved in these areas, we need you to know what will be used, reused or discarded, so please come out and help!

Race Relations Day - February 8th

Sunday, February 8th, we will have a special guest speaker........Rev. Timothy Robinson of New Zion Baptist Church in Harpers Ferry!!!

Valentine's Banquet - Sat Feb 14th

On Saturday, February 14th at 6:00pm we will have our annual Valentine's Day Banquet in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a surprise guest speaker! The men will provide the turkey, mashed potatoes/gravy and bread, so please bring a covered dish along with you to share. Please sign up at the back of the Sanctuary this Sunday if you plan to attend.
