Women's Retreat at Eagle Eyrie!

“Ordinary Life-Extraordinary God” is the title of the women’s get-away at Eagle Eyrie on November 4-5 or 5-6, 2011. Registration began August 1st for staying in the hotel or for making lodging accommodations through the SBA. Since we want to be among the first to use the hotel option ($20), please see either Dotsi Campbell or Deb Deming ASAP if you plan to attend. Beth Moore Simulcast - Sept 10th

The Greenway Spirit and Word Fellowship is sponsoring a Beth Moore Simulcast on September 10th from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost is $5.00 for lunch and please bring a non-perishable food item. The church van and other vehicles will be leaving the parking lot at 9:30 a.m. You must pre-register for this, so let either Deb Deming or Dotsi Campbell know right away if you plan to attend.

Kids for Christ Day #2!

Please see Ashley Hall if you can volunteer your time and talent for the next session of “Kids for Christ” held Saturday, August 20th. Last month there were 7 children involved with this great ministry. Great things are planned, but they need YOU too!

CTBC Newcomers Class 101

The next class will be held Sunday, August 7th at 4:00 p.m. Brother Brian leads this class for those of you who are new to the church and would like to know more information and become better acquainted with CTBC.

Mission/Ministry Opportunity

The Race Track Chaplaincy and CTBC are partnering together to bring about the annual “Back Stretch Picnic” they sponsor for their back stretch and hot walker workers and families. We have been asked to furnish desserts for this event such as cupcakes, cookies, brownies etc. If you are able to help in this way, please bring these items to the fellowship hall on Sunday, August 7th. If you would like to volunteer to help serve for one hour, please let Pat Willingham or Dotsi Campbell know. Many thanks in advance!

Men's Breakfast

Next one is scheduled for Saturday, August 13th at 8:00 a.m. This is for all the men of CTBC to come together and take refreshment and enjoy fellowship.

Church Picnic!!!

Mark your calendars! This will be held Sunday, August 14th at the Jefferson Memorial Park and the fun and festivities begin at 3:00 p.m.! Meats and beverages will be provided, please bring your favorite dish to share. Swimming will begin at 5:00 p.m.
