New class for our special friends

Announcing the Shepherd's Class: In coming weeks we will launch a special program for some very special people. We are creating a class for autistic and special needs children to be held during the 11:00 worship service. Training for those serving in this ministry will be held October 9th following the second service, in the Fellowship Hall. A light lunch will be served.

JCCM Adopt-A-Family Program:

Community Ministries will begin interviewing candidate families for this wonderful program they sponsor every year at Christmas time. They are in need of some volunteers to conduct the interviews. Our contact person is Ms. Carol Pidgeon, please contact her at 304-886-6909 if you can help. You may also email the director of JCCM at director@jccm.us if you can volunteer your time. Many thanks in advance!

Yard Sale for Missions:

"Name Your Price, Claim Your Purchase!" The WMU is hosting a yard sale on October 8th from 9:00 to 2:00 p.m. @ CTBC. Please bring donations (NO clothing or shoes) to the back porch of the church office on sale day, between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. All proceeds will go to missions! Contact Carol Smith 304-616-8330 for more information. Thank you!

Fall Festival and Chili Cookoff

It's time to think of chilly fall evenings with hot cider, bonfires, hayrides, pumpkins and a good spicy hot bowl of homemade chili! Our event is set for Saturday, October 29th. Right now the team is in need of donations of candy, and volunteers to help run the kids games and other fun activities going on. Also, if you plan to enter your pot of chili in the cookoff, please let Roxanne Ashbaugh or John Mills know! Check your newsletter for further details.
