Operation Christmas Child

Hello “shoe box” missionaries and new members, it is that time of year again where we participate in this ministry called “Operation: Christmas Child.” The Missions Ministry Team encourages everyone to pitch in, families, Sunday School classes, church groups, individuals and friends. It gives great personal satisfaction to know a child’s Christmas is fun, but more important they learn about Christ’s love.
All you have to do is fill a shoe box (cardboard or plastic) with toys, school supplies, and/or hygiene items, (the Dollar Tree next to Staples is the best place to shop) insert a $7.00 check to Samaritan’s Purse for shipping and wrap the top and bottom separately. SP will insert pamphlets in the language of the recipient. Many children’s families have been brought to Christ in this way. God is always working!
A display will be in the overflow area and brochures in the Sunday Bulletins with full details. The deadline for our shoe boxes will be November 9th.
If you have any questions, call Lynn or Steve at 876-9358. Please pray for this wonderful mission.
In God’s Love,
Steve & Lynn Faulconer
