This year's VBS is a water park adventure. But, wait. It is so much more than that -- it's a Bible adbventure that the kids are lovin'. At our VBS kids are building long lasting relationships with friends as well as thier ultimate friend, Jesus. Each day the kids will plunge into God's Word as they how Jesus used a very common element, water, to teach uncommon lessons. They learn about who Jesus is, what He did, and what He ask his followers to do.
Each night there is a theme in which the entire night revolves around. Day 1's theme is PLUNGE INTO OBEDIENCE! The kids learned how to become obedient followers of Jesus. Their Bible story was from Luke 5:1-11. In this lesson Jesus helped the disciples to catch a miracoulous number of fish, when they obeyed Him. It was an exciting night and below are the pictures to prove it.
